MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark -- A fugitive arrested in Vermont will be extradited back to Arkansas to stand trial for skipping out on her sentence.
Governor Mike Beebe signed a Governor's Warrant to bring Tammy Hanson back to Arkansas.
She was arrested in Vermont after being on the lamb since 2006. Hanson was convicted in one of the largest animal abuse cases in U.S. history.
The sheriff of Caledonia County, Vermont, was working a tip when he saw Hanson's mugshot on the Baxter County sheriff's department website.
Hanson was arrested July 18th under an alias at her home in Sutton, Vermont.
