Two boys found dead near Licking

Update: Two boys reported missing in Texas County have been found dead Monday Morning in the Big Piney River.

The seven year old boy was found by water patrol officers by dragging the river at 7:10 this morning.

His four year old brother was found by a highway patrol helicopter at 7:30. Water patrol officers pulled out his body.

Tracy Walfer, a dispatcher for the Texas County Sheriff's Department, says the boys' mother thought they were in their room but discovered them missing.


Volunteers worked through the night and continued to search
Monday morning.

LICKING, Mo -- The Texas County sheriff's department is searching for two children lost in the woods.


The boys are seven-year-old Jesse Bagley and four-year-old Wyatt.


Jesse Bagley was wearing a red shirt and black jeans. Wyatt was wearing a white shirt with a bulldog on it and blue plants.
