LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - U.S. Sen. Blanche Lincoln is the latest public figure to become the target of a banner in the sky at a University of Arkansas football game. As the Razorbacks prepared for their season opener against Missouri State University on Saturday, a plane towed a banner above War Memorial Stadium advertising the Web site fireblanchelincoln.com.

Lincoln, D-Arkansas, is up for re-election next year.

In 2007, planes at Razorbacks games towed messages criticizing Arkansas head coach Houston Nutt. Nutt left the Hogs later that year and took over at Ole Miss.
