BILLINGS, Mo. -- School officials started giving out H1N1 vaccine shots on Wednesday morning. Billings school is one of the first in the region to offer students the vaccine.

The Christian County Health department received its first shipment of the flu mist on Tuesday. Of 400 doses, around 150 were given to children whose parents gave permissions.

Billings has been running attendance numbers near 95 percent. Administrators hope this will help keep those numbers high.
