Two die after driver falls asleep near Lebanon

LEBANON, Mo. -- Two people died in a crash near Lebanon on Missouri 32 after a driver fell asleep at the wheel. The Missouri State Highway Patrol identified the victims as Kenneth Kimrey, 51, and Patricia Kimrey, 72, both of Lebanon.

The crash was late Saturday when the driver of a sport utility vehicle fell asleep. The SUV crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a car, killing both of its occupants. The driver of the SUV was flown to a Springfield hospital with serious injuries.
