WILLARD, Mo. -- Its an honor for one Ozarks high school marching band.
Willard's marching band left town Saturday morning, on their way to St. Louis.
The band performed the halftime show during Sunday afternoon's game between the Rams and Arizona Cardinals.
The band program sold over 1,100 tickets for the event.
"We're all really excited," junior Madi Giesler said, "and really nervous because there's gonna be thousands of people watching us, which is a lot more than usual."
"I'm not sure if any of them have seen a professional football game besides maybe on television," director of bands, Chris Church said. "This is a neat experience not only to see a game but to march at one."
Church says this is a real honor since the Rams usually have college bands perform at halftime.
