SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A man is in the Greene County jail after Springfield police say he sent sexually explicit text messages to someone whom he thought was a teenage girl. Officers arrested Ezra Gramm on Friday.
Police became involved after the mother of a 13-year-old girl discovered alarming text messages from Gramm to her daughter. He apparently met her through an Internet chat room. The child's mother provided investigators with her cellular telephone, which was used to contact Gramm. A detective posing as a 14-year-old girl then had several explicit conversations with Gramm over a 24-hour period. During the course of one conversation, police say, Gramm agreed to meet at a park, where he was arrested. Most PopularMore Good StuffAdvertisement
