Two families contacted Fordland School District administrators last month after they said they learned about incidents that their children had with Rose last fall. He was immediately placed on administrative leave pending the criminal investigation.

According to a detective's probable cause statement used as the basis of one first-degree sodomy charge, a boy told investigators that Rose touched him in the pubic area at Rose's home in late October or early November. The boy said it happened while he spent the night at the home, and that he and Rose cuddled and slept together in Rose's bed. The boy said he pretended to be asleep while Rose had his hands down his pants. The boy was 13 years old at the time.

The probable cause statement for the second-degree statutory sodomy charge says another boy, who was 15 at the time, related a similar account of what happened at Rose's home last November or December.

The second first-degree statutory sodomy charge involves a third boy, who also was under age 14. That charge was filed on Wednesday afternoon.
