Connecticut -- It's said to be the most high-tech submarine in the world.
The USS Missouri will be commissioned on Saturday at the Naval Submarine Base in Connecticut.
An estimated 3000 people from the Show-me state plan to be there for the ceremony.
The Missouri was completed 9 months ahead of schedule.
The $2 billion, nuclear-powered attack submarine is the fifth vessel to bear the name Missouri, the most famous being the battleship that was the site of the formal surrender of the Japanese, ending World War II.
The 7,800-ton sub has successfully completed its sea trials.
