A man from Chadwick, Missouri, who confessed to killing three people in Wyoming back in 1980, will spend the rest of his life in prison.

Back in October, 71-year-old Gerald Uden pleaded guilty to killing his ex-wife and her two young children more than thirty years ago.

Uden said his ex-wife had become "intolerable".

Uden's second wife, Alice Uden, also faces murder charges from a separate case. Investigators believe she killed her ex-husband, Ronald Holtz, in either 1974 or 1975.

Both Gerald and Alice were arrested in September.
