GAINESVILLE, Mo. -

Authorities are asking for your help in locating a wanted man.

Robert Finch has been on the run since Monday after Baxter County, Arkansas authorities say he beat his wife over the head with a crow bar.

That incident happened in Baxter County on Monday, but deputies believe Finch is now somewhere in or near Ozark County, which is Gainesville, Missouri.

Finch was spotted Thursday just before noon at a gas station in Hardenville.

Authorities say everyone should lock-up their cars and houses because they believe he will try to steal a get-away car, or break in somewhere.

His wife's family says he should be considered dangerous.

"He's been on the run this long, he's going to have to have food, clothing.  It's getting cold so I would say everybody needs to lock their cars, lock where they live, even if they just go outside for a little while.  Make sure you lock it when you leave out," said the victim's mother Joanna Gasperson.

"Robert was upset because she (Dolores Finch) wouldn't respond to him and refused to talk to him.  She was taking herself away from the situation which we were very proud of her for-- but he would not accept that," sister Alicia Hicks said.

If you see Robert Finch, or know where he is, you are asked to call the Ozark County Sheriff's office in Gainesville at 417-679-4633.

You are asked not to approach him.
