SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -

A man from Bolivar pleaded guilty in federal court on Monday for possessing child pornography.   Leland Crull, 44, pleaded guilty before U.S. Magistrate Judge David Rush.

Law enforcement officer executed a search warrant at Crull’s apartment on Aug. 9, 2012.  Officers found Crull’s laptop computer, which contained multiple images of child pornography.

 Under the terms of the plea agreement, Crull will be sentenced to 10 years in federal prison without parole, which is the statutory maximum penalty.  A sentencing hearing will be scheduled after the completion of a presentence investigation by the United States Probation Office.

The Southwest Missouri Cybercrimes Task Force and the Polk County Sheriff’s Department investigated the case.
