On the Marshfield square is a small scale replica of the Hubble Space Telescope. We've all seen the incredible photos it take of galaxies far, far away. It's here because Edwin Hubble, the astronomer it's named for was born in Marshfield in 1889. And when the telescope was launched in 1990, a few of his relatives from around here went to see it blast off.
