Police say a 4-year-old boy died after falling from a third-story window of the Lofts at the Seville on Sunday night.  Police identified the boy on Monday morning as Ashton Twibell.   His 5th birthday would have been July 21.

The apartment is in the 200 block of East Walnut Street, above Gailey's Breakfast Cafe.   Police say they received a call around 8:30 Sunday night from witnesses who say they saw the young boy fall.

Police say a preliminary investigation showed Ashton pushed the screen out of the window and then fell out.

The owner of a restaurant across the street from the Lofts says one of her employees saw the boy fall and went to resuscitate him until the ambulance arrived.

Police say the parents were home with the child when the fall happened.  Police are reviewing the case to see if further investigation is necessary.
