EUREKA SPRINGS, Ark. -

A group in northwest Arkansas took a stand Saturday for marriage rights it says should be expanded in the state.

A restaurant in Eureka Springs hosted a wedding reception for 500 gay couples who were married in Arkansas during a short window when same sex couples could get licenses in May.

Eureka springs is an epicenter for Arkansas' battle over same sex marriage rights and organizers tell me this reception is meant to be a celebration of for those who were allowed to marry during the short period in May during which same sex couples could marry in Arkansas.
