Greene County Sheriff’s deputies are sorting through what they found after a standoff ended late Thursday night. Deputies, Springfield Police officers and U.S. Marshals went to a home in the 2000 block of west farm road 96 near Kansas Expressway and I-44 to arrest a man wanted on multiple warrants.

Officers say when they arrived the man ran into a house where he then barricaded himself and refused to come out. The SWAT team arrived, and after several hours moved in to take the man into custody.
A search of the property allegedly turned up several cars that have been reported stolen.

Authorities have not yet released the name of the man arrested.
