An 84-year old man was killed Friday night after a truck was driving in the wrong lane and hit him head-on.

The crash was on Highway 60, just east of Rogersville near White Oak Road.

The Highway patrol says a full-size pick-up truck was driving down the wrong lane when it struck the oncoming car.  The driver of that car, 84-year-old William Hughes, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck, who was headed the wrong way, had his two little girls with him-- 6 and 8 years old.

One of them remains in serious condition.

No word yet on why the 32 year old was in the wrong lane.
