Students who attend Ozarks Technical Community College will see an increase in tuition beginning this summer.
The college's Board of Trustees voted on a "tiered tuition" plan, which means the school's programs will have different rates.
All in-district students currently pay $92 per credit hour. Starting in June, general education courses will bump up to $95 per credit hour. Technology courses will increase to $98, while health courses will rise to $101 per hour.
In total, the increases will generate an additional $1.5 million for the college.
The practice of having different tuition rates for different programs has become a national trend.
