The 19th annual Bowl-A-Thon, sponsored by Knights of Columbus, took place on Saturday.

More than 500 bowlers collected pledges for the fundraising effort, which benefits The Kitchen. The Kitchen provides assistance to the homeless population around the area.

"They're very committed to helping those in the community that can't help themselves. They Knights feel fortunate that we can put on such an event to help this entity continue to thrive and meet the needs of the community", states Drew Arens with Knights of Columbus.

Enterprise Lanes, Battlefield Lanes, Lighthouse Lanes, and Century Lanes in Nixa all took part in the event.

Businesses sponsored lanes along with church and civic group donations.

The Bowl-A-Thon has its own web page where people can still donate to the cause. You may view it by clicking here.
