ROLLA, Mo. -

A man from Rolla has been arrested a second time in connection with another man's death that occurred 22 years ago.

According to the Phelps County Sheriff, William Harrison was initially arrested for the death of Jerry Wayne King in 1992. King's body was found near the entrance to the Gourd Creek Cave, near the end of what is now County Road 7270.

Harrison was eventually released and the case soon turned cold. Last year, however, the case was reopened and a warrant was issued for Harrison's arrest.

Harrison, 49, is charged with First Degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action. He is being held in the Phelps County jail.
