A Fair Grove woman is teaching sewing and business skills in an effort to help women and young girls in Managua, Nicaragua trapped in the sex trade.
Rebekah Batson owns a children's clothing boutique. When a fellow missionary told her a sewing machine was sitting in a closet in a poor village because no one knew how to use it, she created Sew Nicaragua.
Her next mission trip is planned for March.
