SOCHI, RUSSIA -

Springfield native Emily Scott has one more chance to earn a medal at the Olympics in Sochi.

Scott will begin her quest for a medal in the women's short track 1000 meters Tuesday morning.  She will compete in Heat No. 2.  It starts at 3:30 a.m.  If she advances, she will skate in the quarterfinals on Friday morning.

The Hillcrest High School grad crashed in the finals of the 1500 meters Saturday morning.  She finished fifth.  Scott failed to qualify for the semi finals in the 500 meters.
