SUMMARY: Walmart is nearing completion on its new Joplin store, set to open November 9th. The facility, constructed from the ground-up in only five months, replaces the former Supercenter destroyed during the May 22nd tornado. The new store is being built according to the company's newest layout and architectural features.
Since the weeks following the storm, Walmart has continued to serve residents on-site with a temporary mobile pharmacy and vision center.
