It's a chance to help get your financial house in order this spring.
The Roanoke Valley Financial Fitness Fair drew hundreds to the Roanoke Civic Center Saturday.
It was a free event aimed at guiding individuals and families on how to better handle their finances.
Dozens of financial institutions, federal and states agencies, as well as non-profits were set up, giving advise and information on everything from personal budgets to identity theft protection.
There was also an emphasis on banking. About 5% of the population in the Roanoke Valley have no banking relationship.
18% are considered under-banked, which means those folks don't make full use of the services available at their banks.
