JAMAICA, NY—
Police are on the lookout for the man who shot a fellow officer in Queens at around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. The officer was rushed to Jamaica Hospital in unknown condition.The gunman, described as a black male wearing a white t-shirt, fired at officers near 106-61 Union Hall Street. It is still unknown what preceded the shooting.
Police are currently setting up a perimeter around the location of the shooting looking for the suspect. The K-9 unit, emergency service and aviation unit is responding to the scene.
