YORK CITY—
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Continental Square in York City. York's Community Christmas Tree arrived in the square shortly before 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The tree is so big, a crane was called in to lift the 30-foot blue spruce into place.
This is the 30th year Jackson Cranes has donated their services to the city in helping with the Christmas tree.
William Shaffer of Dover donated the tree to the city.
The annual tree lighting ceremony will take place on Light Up Night on Dec. 7.
