He later founded IF Development, a company specializing in sales and marketing programs for builders and developers. Novak sued the Jaguars¿ team doctor, alleging he was a vicitm of medical malpractice for how a leg injury was handled. A Jacksonville jury awarded Novak and his wife $5.3 million, a verdict quickly overturned by the presiding judge. Media reports indicate a settlement was reached. Plaintiff in concussion litigation.
