( Mike Stocker, Sun Sentinel / May 9, 2009 ) A proposal to build a water-slide park with dancing fountains and entertainment, and an aquarium, is on the drawing board. The water park would be built on the peninsular property where the International Swimming Hall of Fame and city Aquatics Complex are presently located. The open space just east of the property, is D.C. Alexander Park (the view is looking south.) |
