Boynton Beach robbery

Boynton Beach Police want to catch an armed bank robbery suspect who really may be red-handed. The man got a surprise when a dye pack placed in some money he had just robbed from a Commerce Bank exploded outside about 6 p.m. Wednesday. Police believe it was his third heist in recent weeks, all in a two-block area. The suspect, who was wearing a Texas Longhorns baseball cap, sunglasses, and a red striped shirt, may have gotten some red dye on him, police say.
Police ask anyone who recognizes the man to call Detective Midian Diaz, 561-742-6113; Detective Alex Moreno, 561-742-6138; or Crime Stoppers, 800-458-8477.
