The story: McGee is accused of attacking a woman with a coconut during a Lauderdale Lakes road rage incident on the Fourth of July, according to a Broward Sheriff's Office report.<br>
The coconut catfight got hairy about 1:20 p.m. at the intersection of West Oakland Park Boulevard and North State Road 7 where a green 2004 Nissan SUV and a red 2008 Chrysler minivan came to a stop.
McGee told investigators that she got out of her minivan and approached the front passenger's window of the SUV and initiated the altercation. The loud verbal exchange escalated when McGee reached into the car and grabbed Vanessa Davis, 25, and pulled her hair and scratched her face, the Sheriff's report said.<br>
A passenger in Davis' SUV told the Sheriff's Office that McGee then went back to her van and returned with a coconut in hand.<br>
However, this time, McGee allegedly went to the back passenger window and hit Markenia Byrd, 29, in the head with the coconut, according to the Sheriff's report.
Byrd was transported to the hospital to treat the head wound.<br><br>
Charges: Two counts of burglary with assault or battery
