Bill Nye: Creationism is not appropriate for children

Information science proves extreme intelligence is behind the DNA programming in all life. This is real science.
Evolution relies on 'science falsely so-called'. It contributes nothing to actual science and actually mucks everything up. You came from a rock, and the rock came from nothing, and that's what it claims.
Let Bill Nye blather on. In 20 years he'll be in a nursing home or deceased.
Last eve I passed the blacksmith's door, and heard the anvil ring the vesper chime, and looking in I spied upon the floor, old hammers worn with beating years of time. How many anvils have ye had, asked I, to wear and batter all these hammers so, just one said he, and then with twinkling eye, the anvil wears the hammer out, ye know. And so thought I, the anvil of God's word, for ages skeptic blows have beat upon, but though the noise of blows was heard, the anvil is unharmed, and the hammers gone.
the only thing i think preventing christians from seeing that evolution is a fact is..well 2..their lack of actual study of the subject..and mainly that it is impossible to them because they actually belief the earth to be only 6000 years old....the problem is that their bible never says that...in fact most of what the bible does say suggests isn't even part of the christian story...moses would have no problem believing in evolution as it was part of their early belief that nature was full of patterns and that we should do our best to observe them and learn their operation...the laws even reflect a knowledge on the molecular level as many laws resulted in a preventative measure against genetic mutations...knowing this they would have also observed the changes that occured over time with each crossover....descent with modification to the genome is an observed fact and is change meaning evolution...i have met many christians who do accept it on a micro level however do not accept macro...this goes back to believing the earth is 6000 years old...well...lets discuss that...
I want my children to learn everything they can learn. That being said, I also want them to realize that what God says (especially about what He's created) is more real that what men have observed at the moment. After all, science comes to us from observation and testing those observations. Over time, as the pool of information we have grows, it changes our observations and the conclusions we draw from those observations.
No matter where you are in this debate, you can never show me a point where you can prove where the first piece of matter came from. At some point, you either have to say "I don't know" or acknowledge that something was created out of nothing. I call that God. You call it what you want.
