1996 - Ivan Rodriguez hit his 43rd double of the season to set a major league record for most doubles by a catcher, and Ken Hill pitched his sixth complete game of the season as the Texas Rangers defeated the Minnesota Twins, 11-2.

2001 - Chipper Jones and Brian Jordan homered and drove in two runs each to back the pitching of Greg Maddux, who threw eight innings of three-hit ball and picked up his 17th victory of the season in the Atlanta Braves' 6-3 victory over the San Diego Padres.

2006 - Rookie Nick Markakis homered in his first three at-bats as the Baltimore Orioles downed the Minnesota Twins 6-3. Markakis hit home runs in the first, third and fifth innings, each of them off Carlos Silva, and was the first Oriole to homer three times in a game since Albert Belle in 1999.

2010 - Scott Baker pitched seven strong innings to gain his 11th win of the season and Michael Cuddyer drove in three runs to lead the Minnesota Twins to a 4-0 win over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The Twins hold a five-game lead over Chicago in the American League Central division.
