Scores
Here are the scores for teams in the KY3 area on Oct. 23. The home team is on the bottom in each pairing. Teams are from Missouri unless stated otherwise.
For most teams in Missouri, this was the second week of three district games to determine the teams that go to playoffs. (Ozark, Parkview, Glendale, Nixa and Kickapoo are in a five-team district, so this is the third week of four weeks of district games.) Two teams from each district advance to the first round of the state playoffs.
The records and points (if they matter) in brackets are the Missouri teams' records in district games. Each team gets up to +13 or -13 points for each game, depending on the margin of victory. Overtime games, regardless of score, are +1 or -1 for each team. The team with the best record is the district champion and the team with the next best record also goes to the playoffs. In case of ties, the team with the head-to-head win is the winner. The points are used in case three teams tie with the same records.
Playoff teams in Arkansas are determined by conference play, with the top four teams from each conference advancing to the playoffs. Arkansas has two more weeks of regular season games after this week.
