Smith, Miller healthy again for Hogs

By Chris Replogle

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas running back Michael Smith is healthy again after missing spring practice because of a hamstring injury.

The 5-foot-7 Smith rushed for 1,072 yards last season. Coach Bobby Petrino said Wednesday that Smith and wide receiver Lucas Miller both say they're "ready to go."

Miller missed spring practice after tearing knee ligaments last season.

Petrino also said quarterback Ryan Mallett's injured finger is healed.

Petrino said the school still hasn't heard anything final on running back Broderick Green's eligibility. Green left Southern California and transferred back to his home state, citing health issues within his family. It's not clear if Green will have to sit out a season.
