FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Junior cornerback Isaac Madison is out for the season after suffering an ACL injury. Madison will need surgery to fix a torn ligament in his knee. He injured it during a scrimmage.

Madison started 11 games in 2008. The team had counted on his experience for depth at cornerback. Coach Petrino called Madison the most-improved player from a year ago.
