Fayetteville, Ark. -- A promotion paid off for the University of Arkansas' new football offensive coordinator. Garrick McGee will be paid $300,000 pending approval of the University's Board of Trustees.

That pay is the same as his predecessor, Paul Petrino. Petrino left the staff of his brother, Bobby Petrino, to become the offensive coordinator at University of Illinois. Paul Petrino will earn a half a million dollars annually.
