FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- The University of Texas got its revenge. The University of Arkansas got its point guard, Courtney Fortson, back from suspension. Dexter Pittman scored 21 points and Damion James added another 20 to lead the number-two ranked Longhorns to a 96-85 victory over the Razorbacks at Bud Walton Arena.

Rotnei Clarke led the Razorbacks with a game-high 24 points.

The Longhorns (14-0) shot 59 percent from the game. After a 48-48 halftime tie, the Horns started the second half on fire on a cold night in Fayetteville making their first nine out of eleven shots. The Razorbacks slowly cut that lead to two at 86-84. From there, Texas ended the game on ten to one run.

Sophomore guard Courtney Fortson returned to the starting lineup after missing the first 14 games to suspension. He poured in 19 points and dished out seven assists. Freshman forward Marshawn Powell added 18 points.

The Razorbacks will not play again for more than a week, opening up Southeastern Conference play at Mississippi State.
