KANSAS CITY, Mo. The Kansas City Chiefs inked one of the best available running backs on the free agent market. The Chiefs signed former New York Jets back Thomas Jones.
Jones was the NFL's 3rd leading rusher in 2009. He had career highs of 1,402 yards and 14 touchdowns last season. He was also selected to the Pro Bowl in 2008.
Jones, 31, will join third-year running back Jamaal Charles. Charles rushed for 1,120 yars and seven touchdowns in 2009.
