Gainesville girls beat Dora, win first district title in 10 years

The Gainesville Lady Bulldogs won their first district championship in 10 years on Friday night, defeating the Dora Lady Falcons, 43-25.  The first quarter was a tight one, with Gainesville taking the early lead and winning the quarter, 9-7.

Gainesville pushes tempo to beat Sparta, win district title

The Gainesville Bulldogs won their second straight district title, defeating Sparta, 50-32, on Friday night.  This completed a Girls/Boys sweep of the district titles for Gainesville.  As far as anyone remembers, it is the first time this has happened for the Bulldogs.
