FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino says both Ryan Mallett and Tyler Wilson would play at quarterback if Arkansas had a game this weekend.
Petrino addressed his quarterback situation Thursday. Spring practice ended last weekend. Petrino said if the Razorbacks had a game this weekend, Mallett would start but Wilson would come in for the beginning of the second quarter.
Mallett and Wilson had shared the top spot on the depth chart heading into spring practice.
Mallett played at Michigan in 2007 before transferring to Arkansas. He'll be eligible for the Razorbacks for the first time this fall. Wilson played sparingly for the Razorbacks last season as a freshman backup.
