COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Ten former Missouri players will be on active NFL rosters when the regular season begins this weekend.
The group of Tiger football pros includes four stars from the 2008 team: Philadelphia wide receiver Jeremy Maclin; Pittsburgh defensive lineman Ziggy Hood; Atlanta safety William Moore and Cincinnati tight end Chase Coffman.
The other former Tigers on NFL rosters are wide receivers Justin Gage (Tennessee) and Brad Smith (New York Jets), tight end Martin Rucker (Cleveland), defensive linemen Justin Smith (San Francisco), Atiyyah Ellison (Jacksonville) and C.J. Mosley (Cleveland).
Quarterback Chase Daniel has signed with the New Orleans Saints'
practice squad after being released by the Washington Redskins. Offensive lineman Colin Brown is on injured reserve for the Kansas
City Chiefs.
