William P. Montgomery
1948-2013
JUNCTION CITY — William “Bill” Perry Montgomery, 64, of Junction City, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013.
Born Oct. 1, 1948, he was a son of the late William Roma and Katherine Johnson Montgomery. He worked in construction and was a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Herring Montgomery; three sons, Brian Montgomery, Kevin Montgomery and Jerry (Denise) Montgomery, all of Junction City; two daughters, Debbie Claunch of Junction City and Renata Farmer of Monticello; three sisters, Lisa (Junior) Fields of Danville, Loraine (Raymond) King of Junction City and Linda (Elmer) Wells of West Chester, Ohio; a brother, Tim Montgomery of Parksville; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Pam Hubbard and Geraldine Holly, and a brother, Mike Montgomery.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. The Rev. Junior Fields will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Clyde Greene, Freddie Greene, James Hubbard, Robin Owens, Ricky Snow, Kenny Thomas, Buddy Wilson and Chris Montgomery. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Daughtery and Randle Riggs.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City.
