Calvert Hall grad Amos to stay at Penn State
"I'm fine where i am..season is around the corner #blueandwhite," he tweeted.
The NCAA sanctioned Penn State with a number of different penalties, including a four-year bowl ban, a $60 million fine and loss of scholarships. Current players are free to transfer and play immediately at a new school. No player has left the program yet.
Amos made 13 tackles and intercepted one pass in 12 games as a true freshman last season. He was moved to safety in the spring but with two cornerbacks, Derrick Thomas and Curtis Drake, leaving the program a few months ago, Amos was projected to see time all over the secondary. He will also return kicks this season, according to a depth chart Bill O'Brien released in early June.
