  1. Springfield car dealer is criminally charged with falsifying odometers

    SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A car dealer whose business was shut down by a civil lawsuit by the Attorney General's Office last year has now been criminally charged.   Ashley Bolton was charged on Monday with two counts of unlawful merchandising practices.  The Attorney General's Office says Bolton rolled back odometers on used cars before reselling them at a dealership in southwest Springfield.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A judge gave a man from Springfield a 65-year prison sentence on Friday for trying to rape his ex-girlfriend and trying to burn a pickup belonging to that woman’s sister.  A Greene County jury convicted Frankie Brown, 28, last November.  The crimes were in Springfield last June 26 and 27.

    HALLTOWN, Mo. -- Law enforcement officers arrested a man who they think led them on a 40-mile case from Greene County to Lawrence County late Wednesday afternoon.   Jeromy Eutsler, 37, of Branson is in the Greene County jail, but wasn't charged for the chase as of Thursday afternoon.  Eutsler has warrants for his arrest in Taney County for failing to appear in court last Nov. 1 on two cases, a theft charge and a domestic assault charge.
