    HALFWAY, Mo. -- The owner of a closed cattle rendering plant signed an agreement in court on Monday to make a plan to clean up environmental hazards on the property.  In the agreement, the Missouri Attorney General's Office says "an estimated 2,500 animal carcasses are buried" in an earthen trench at Halfway Packing Company in Polk County.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A car dealer whose business was shut down by a civil lawsuit by the Attorney General's Office last year has now been criminally charged.&nbsp;&nbsp; Ashley Bolton was charged on Monday with two counts of unlawful merchandising practices.&nbsp; The Attorney General's Office says Bolton rolled back odometers on used cars before reselling them at a dealership in southwest Springfield.
