Friday is Nobel Peace Prize Day. The award will be presented in absentia to Liu Xiaobo in Oslo as the human rights activist remains jailed in China. President Barack Obama was the winner in 2009, perhaps a year too early. At least now he can say he's made peace with Republicans.
The Florida Clemency Board on Thursday pardoned Jim Morrison, the late frontman of the Doors, in a 1969 public indecency case stemming from a performance in Miami. Morrison could not break on through from the other side to comment.
