  1. Gas prices jump another 15 cents overnight in Springfield

    SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Drivers here are paying 15 cents more a gallon for gas on Wednesday morning than Tuesday night, as prices for regular unleaded gas at some stations jumped from $3.59 to $3.74 overnight.    Just a couple of weeks ago, prices were as low as $3.19 in Springfield. Now they've jumped 55 cents a gallon since that time.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The North Little Rock, Ark., Police Department says a man suspected of a murder there on April 1 turned in himself to police.  Earlier this week, police and the U.S. Marshals Service said Samuel Douglas might be in the Springfield area because he has relatives here.
