  9. Springfield Police give positive progress report, but meth lab numbers climb

    SPRINGNFIELD, Mo. -- The Springfield Police Department compiled its first annual report since 2008.  Some numbers are up for the department, like the budget, which is looking better than a couple years ago thanks to federal grants and the city council.  There are also 40 to 50 more officers than a few years ago, and they're redistributed around the city.
