  3. 112 mile per hour chase ends with driver's arrest

    Lakeview, AR -<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">May 15, 2013 at approximately 4 pm, Baxter County Doug Meurer was westbound on Hwy 178 near Lakeview, Arkansas when he observed a vehicle eastbound coming towards him at a high rate of speed. Deputy Meurer locked the vehicle on his radar at 112 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone.&nbsp; Deputy Meurer activated his blue lights and the vehicle continued past him at a high rate of speed. Deputy Meurer radioed the description of the vehicle and driver to the Baxter County Dispatch.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span>
