Breakfast planned

The women of Ebenezer AME Church, 26 W. Bethel St., will hold a breakfast Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. 

The menu includes eggs, bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, sausage gravy, biscuit, orange juice and coffee or tea. 

The breakfast costs $6.

Book Club to meet

The first book read of the year for the SIS Book Club is “Samson,” by Jacquelin Thomas and the discussion will be Saturday, March 23, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Movie night

Bridge of Life Church, 14 S. Potomac St., will hold movie night Saturday at 7 p.m.

Easter egg hunt

Memorial Recreation Center is asking for assistance in donations of candy and plastic eggs for an Easter egg hunt planned Saturday, March 30, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Second Christian Church, 65 W. North Ave., will hold a breakfast Saturday from 7 to 11 a.m.

The menu includes sausage, fried potatoes and onions, scramble eggs, biscuit and orange juice or coffee.

The meal costs $6, or add an order of pancakes for $6.50.

 

Neighborhood meeting set for Thursday, March 7

The Neighborhoods 1st Medal of Honor Association will meet Thursday, March 7, at 7 p.m. at the Bethel Gardens Community Center, 356 Henry Ave. in Hagerstown.
